Due to copyright restrictions, images do not appear online for all works. The detail views, labels, back, and side views of most objects can be viewed at the museum and may be available in a printed version by special request.
Permission to Reproduce a Work from the Collection
Digital images of the Henry Art Gallery collections are provided to increase access to our collections for study purposes only. Assume that all images are copyright protected. We ask that users not download digital images. Users are welcome to print out paper copies for research and study. Permission to place images from our collection on the internet or to reproduce and publish works from our collection must be submitted in writing. Send a written request with a description of the project, publisher, and publication date. Reproduction-quality images do not exist for the entire collection. Requests will be granted based on our ability to provide images. A fee will be charged to create new photography.
Use of Digital Images
For copyright protection, we have posted low-resolution images of objects in our collections on this Website. If enlarged, the images will pixelate; they are not suitable for projection. Because of limited data storage space the Henry does not have high-resolution collection images readily available. For information on obtaining high-resolution images, please email us at .
