Join a university faculty member or graduate student for a 30-minute tour. Each month a different faculty and grad student will share a unique perspective on the art on view.
This month’s faculty tour will be led by Professor of Geography and Adjunct Professor of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, Kim England.
Professor England will guide visitors through Katinka Bock: A and I.
Kim England is an urban, social, and feminist geographer whose teaching and research focuses on care work, critical social policy analysis, economic restructuring, and inequalities in North America. She uses film and art in her 200 level urban geography class as a mode of representation and form of urban analysis. Professor England is a core member of UW’s Cities Collaboratory (CitiesCollab) group whose teaching and research focus on cites and urbanisms from diverse disciplinary and professional perspectives.
