Thursday, May 29, 2014, 12:30 - 1:00 PM
East
Art Break tours are open to the public with a special invitation to our UW faculty, staff and affiliates, and U-District residents. Advance registration is strongly recommended; email .

Join a university faculty member or graduate student for a 30-minute tour. Each month a different faculty and grad student will share a unique perspective on the art on view.

This month’s faculty tour will be led by UW School of Art Adjunct Lecturer Eric Fredericksen.

Fredericksen will guide visitors through The Brink: Anne Fenton .

Fredericksen manages public art projects and coordinates arts activities along the Central Waterfront for the City of Seattle. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the School of Art, University of Washington, and an independent curator, consultant and writer. Fredericksen was the founding director of Western Bridge, a Seattle contemporary exhibition space, from 2003 to 2012. He was previously an editor and writer at Architecture magazine and The Stranger, and was a 2001 fellow of the National Arts Journalism Program, Columbia University.
