Allyson Vieira is a New York City-based sculptor whose works address myth and materiality. Her first solo museum exhibition originated at the Kunsthalle Basel in September 2013 and is currently on view at the Swiss Institute in New York. She is represented by Laurel Gitlen Gallery in New York.

The University of Washington School of Art, in conjunction with the Nebula Project, is pleased to announce its Winter Quarter 2014 artist lecture series. This annual series is organized to accompany the course Art 361/595 Critical Issues in Contemporary Art Practice, taught by guest lecturer Eric Fredericksen.
